Reminded of this scene in one of the most compelling films I've ever seen.

The Vietnam War is perhaps unique in the way it draws revisionism, not least from men like Trump. The rate at which poor adults were killed by US foreign policy so the rich can write such revisionisms is grimly remarkable.

80 years ago: 5 October 1945 the icon that is Brian Connolly, lead singer of Sweet was born. They defined the golden era of glam rock with their songs, hooks & looks. The songs are irresistible; as a young lad I was transfixed by Brian's looks & appeal and even grew my hair like Brian.

Martin lasted 121 days: the shortest reign for a Rangers manager in the club's history. The previous records held for shortest full-time Rangers manager were Pedro Caixinha with 227 days (2017) and Paul Le Guen with 240 days (2006-7). What a soap opera!
