Not this year, I don't think! Hopefully you get to Europe soon though 😊
Hope all is well with you, stranger?? Been too long since we've caught up!

Delighted that @marykfoymp.bsky.social highlighted our recent PIP analysis during today’s DWP debate in Parliament. She drew attention to the significant local impact of PIP reforms, noting that the City of Durham stands to lose - a staggering £13 million annually from its local economy.

Hot off the press! Our latest research shows that the availability of community pharmacies has declined in the past decade, with the most deprived areas in England 65% more likely to lose a pharmacy.

Thank you, Brendan! Some great suggestions from yourself and colleagues 😀

(And a great suggestion for ice cream - honeycomb plus Irish brown bread is a great combo!)

Today the ONS have published new estimates of UK healthcare productivity. They estimate that productivity has declined substantially, while last week NHS England estimated that English acute hospital productivity has increased. What’s going on? A short thread

The UK has higher rates of health related worklessness than most comparable economies.

In tackling this, the government should be careful to not drive people into more poverty, stigma, and ill health, and thereby further away from employment @profbambra.bsky.social
