I'd like to thank Matt Canavan for making Peter Dutton's life particularly difficult today.

Credit where credit is due.

As the remaining Bali 9 members return home, ALHR’s thoughts are with the loved ones of Andrew Chan & Myuran Sukumaran - young men who had been demonstrably rehabilitated after 10 years imprisonment but who were executed. This is so backward
1. Science is more than just commercialisable widgetry
2. Making progress on our biggest problems (climate change, infectious diseases, misinfo to name a few) will need more collaboration between STEM and hum/social sci not less.

At the end of the day, Albanese has failed to reduce Australia’s emissions increasing the carbon debt for his successor and the nation.
