There are so many Diane Keaton performances to remember, but a lot of people haven't seen Reds, and A) my God, see it, it is a masterpiece and B) her performance as Louise Bryant is one of the bravest, toughest, least sympathy-courting pieces of work by an American actress in the last 50 years.

Will never forget watching that during the pandemic, just a few months after my father passed away, and being absolutely destroyed by finding out Griffey Sr. came out of retirement because of Jr.’s mental health struggles and he wanted to make sure he was okay.

I’m a lifelong Dodgers fan but Ken Griffey Jr. was the player that truly made me fall in love with the game as a kid, so I’ve always had a soft spot for the Mariners. If they take the whole thing I’d be just as happy for them as the Dodgers

IO ISLAND: Kim turning up the dial on this Korean WICKER MAN riff until the sexual hysteria and skewering of late-70s environmental and capital exploitation reaches a fever pitch and then some. A furious storm of a film that is sometimes too ponderous for its own good but it builds so well.

Let me tell you guys something: in 5th grade for Flag Day my class had to perform “God Bless The USA” at the school assembly, so I was forced to sing that fucking song in rehearsal 5 times a day every day for 2 months. So with me it’s been on sight for Lee Greenwood for the past 25 years.

Mike Johnson isn't happy that Bad Bunny is performing at the Super Bowl: It sounds like he's not someone who appeals to a broader audience. There's so many eyes on it. A lot of young, impressionable children. In my view, you would have Lee Greenwood or role models doing that. Not somebody like this.
