You have to sign a special release for photogs to sell portraits to stock agencies. (I used to do portraits and take stock images)

I was on our college paper over the couple years of transition from waxed printed type layout to full digital design. It was wild.

I’m so happy to have grown up in this bridge generation where digital was immature and nascent, and the analog systems were still running. My college art history prof used an actual slide carousel for presentations. Overheads! Rotary phones! Even the early internet used copper telephone lines.

And I think the Brene difference between guilt and shame was mentioned probably. I also haven’t read the entire piece aside from the excerpts I saw shared.

I saw some clips TMC shared on IG from the piece. I also have read a lot of Brene. The discussion described appropriate shame as giving us reason to scrutinize our character and grow. I’m not sure embarrassment hits that exactly although the (I feel/I did) part aligns.

Having it hit around 50, I wanted to blame peri/menopause, but it has been a few years now and I still struggle at time despite my deep desire to be devouring texts. Although, sometimes it is just because it is a bad book and I now give myself permission to ditch that sh*t.
