It's shite losing to them, but let's not pretend it was sometime it wasn't.

We were the better team, we deserved at least a point, we're disjointed and lacking cohesion.

You drop points in autumn when you sign 5-6 starters. It's just a thing and it was unavoidable.

I think I need a purge of my #lfc accounts. More heads falling off than a 18th century France

Michael Oliver "doesn't see" an awful lot, for a guy whose job heavily involves seeing things

Been a while since I've seen a half of football officiated this one-sidedly
Any explanation why the ref didn't stop the game for the head injury?
Seems like something they're meant to be big on

HTF did we lose to this sh*te?

This is absolutely appalling from Jenrick. It’s completely untrue and there’s no way he doesn’t know that.
Jenrick casting 1980s British football hooliganism as something that was easily dealt with by police and not an era defining issue which we're still living with the consequences of today... He's genuinely the most unserious person in British politics rn

The jenrick football thing is just more evidence of nostalgia for something that didn’t exist and you would hope it might set off alarm bells among followers but more prob won’t

Decades after the Heysel and Hillsborough disasters, can politicians please not second-guess expert safety assessments for football stadiums.

Thank you.

FINALLY a political message from the government that I'm ready to run through brick walls for me
Repeat after me:
Brexit was a clusterfuck
Brexit was an omnishambles
Brexit was the biggest act of self-harm in British history
Brexit has been destructive to our economy, and has cost us £140 BILLIONS already.

Rachel Reeves: "The impact of Brexit is severe and long lasting."

I wouldn't, watch him even before his dog whistles, he's just not my kind of TV, but I will watch most things PAR is in, so I'll give it a go
It's doubly mad because rylan's involvement is a major negative and will put many people off
I’m sure they didn’t mean to eliminate the woman in this image.

This strikes me as a pretty major Brexit shift from Starmer.

Perhaps the beginning of 'Brexit is sh1t and has caused real economic damage'.

Abolition of stamp duty would be worth £80,000 to the average person whose girlfriend buys him a £900,000 second home in Clacton
It's like a protection racket.
Give me a prize for being pro peace or I'll go to war with you.

Private Eye offers up an excellently scornful commentary on the relentless polling. It’s become ridiculous and has oversimplified our politics to dangerous levels of stupid and irresponsible.
How will they fund it?

🚨 Tory Policy Announcement Shocker 😱

They plan to abolish stamp duty which will benefit (drum roll 🥁🥁) London and the rich

That’s not like them at all to look after the rich and shaft everyone else.. this is earth shattering.. it’d be like Farage & co being exposed as philanthropists, not grifters
Tory plan to abolish stamp duty ‘will benefit London and the wealthiest the most’ – as it happened
The Social Market Foundation thinktank says council tax reform and a property-based tax would be more sustainable and fairer

I can see the point for non fiction. Most non fiction books I read could easily lose a third. A good central concept clearly padded out for word count. Not sure if I'd trust it to know which third though.
