1-866-952-4456 to tell Netflix that in no way do you want Elon fucking Musk determining what you watch.

I just called, got through in about 15 seconds, and told them that I strongly support queer inclusion in their programming and that I will cancel my subscription if they cave.
1. Led by Elon Musk, the far-right has exploded in a campaign to get Netflix to remove shows with queer and trans characters.

If Netflix capitulates to their demands, an already strained market for LGBTQ+ animators might become even more dire.

STEPHANOPOULOS: The Democratic proposal is designed to prevent millions of Americans from losing their health insurance, losing Medicaid coverage, or paying higher healthcare premiums. Why are you against that?

MIKE JOHNSON: That's an absurd statement

STEPHANOPOULOS: It's a factual statement

if you really want to stick it to Disney, and other corporate media giants, become fascinated by things they would never produce, so that they might fade into the background noise of life.

AOC: We should be clear about who Charlie Kirk was. A man who believed that the civil rights act that granted black Americans the right to vote was a mistake… His rhetoric and beliefs were ignorant, uneducated, and sought to disenfranchise millions of Americans.

AOC: All in the name of Charlie Kirk, Trump and the FCC are now cynically threatening to shut down ABC and any outlets who give air time to the administration's political critics.

This is a disgusting attack on the American people and the very first amendment rights that define us as a country.

More musings from the Deity series I’ve been noodling on. This one in particular took a minute as I’ve been chipping away at it in my spare time. Playing with the idea of a Deity that could multiply itself into various configurations.

Close ups in the comments.

More musings from the Deity series. Always wanted to paint a sphinx of some sort but never have, they’ve always fascinated me. So why not make one for the series (or several actually). The anatomy was a fun design challenge, thanks for looking!

“Galatea”

I wonder what she felt, in those first moments of life on the sculptors plinth. Fresh-kissed, the fading smell of sea foam on the evening breeze. How her lungs must have quaked with those first breaths, her ribs throbbing with the newborn beating of her heart.

If the AI bubble really is bursting, please take this lesson from it:

Nothing marketed to you this relentlessly is ever worth it. If it was, they wouldn’t need to beg you.
thank you so much Dubs I really appreciate that ♥️
Every artist needs an assistant
these pieces were from 2024, and sort of reflect my time away from watercolor in the interim years, during which all of my art was done digitally. You can tell I had forgotten how loose watercolor can get 😅
Some more watercolors from this time period!
many of these first pieces were made as part of my college senior thesis, a preliminary novel draft featuring a pantheon that encompassed many concepts of the world and how people understood them. Grief, morning dew, the first moment of sleep, all bore a face and a name.
Just posting a little thread of some of my REALLY old artwork, this was when I first began getting into artwork around 2017/2018
