All of the teabag bookmarks from my September collection are still available! 🫖🍂 Mushrooms, animals, flowers... There must be one that is exactly your cup of tea! (pun very much intended).
Bookmark shaped like a teabag, with a red mushroom and hedgehog embroidered on it. Bookmark shaped like a teabag, with acorns embroidered on it.

fucking right? There are great things for kids and teens that covers darker or heavier topics. Not everything that does so is intended for them. My art is for adults.

RIGHT a toddler could do it whilst doin that little whole-hand-fisting-the-crayon move they do, I guarantee if you have the dexterity it takes to make and can pickles, you can draw a GADDAM PICKLE!!!!

Like, my brother in christ how hard is it to draw a pickle. Draw a stretched out circle. draw some pimples on it. PICKLE.

Yeah! That would be an option for sure. Airbrushing is one i see a lot of people use for stuff like this but i have no personal experience with that so xD

The practice was to seal between layers... like you get to a point you're happy with for one layer, seal it and let dry before going in with the next layer of pastels- I would ofc do those as a last step after using any paints cuz otherwise it would just get covered
aspentangle.bsky.social
Back when I did bjds, a lot of it was using hard pastels, scraped off and painted on like a powder. I bet a mix of that, and using washes would work well.

It's so nice that they're employing parrots after their horrible accidents in the 'bad parrot isolation cube', despite their deformities.

In America, if you are a naturally born citizen who is a veteran of the military that is worshipped with a religious like fervor, but happen to have the wrong last name or skin tone... You might get sent to a country you have no association with at all.

In most places, if you are not a born citizen, but do something good for the country - military service, an act of bravery etc- you are basically fast tracked to some kind of citizenship.

The Titanic was 'unsinkable' and now it's at the bottom of the ocean with the corpses of billionaires who thought they were rich enough to be safe.
No such thing as 'too big to fail'.

I want a movie where Julian Ritchings plays a creepy monster in prosthetics while Doug Jones plays a calm unsettling man who's presence in the scene makes you jittery in your seat.
Brought to you by my describing Ritchings as "the Doug Jones of playing creepy guys WITHOUT prosthetics"

Incredibly charmed people were doing this nearly 100 years ago but I've also gotten this occassionally on my art and stories and it makes my day every time. Incredibly silly but the raw earnestness of it... one of the best compliments one can recieve imo

This is old and it's not even the first time I've seen it but I need to stress to everyone that I am the reincarnation of this teenage girl

Brainrot this, chronically online that...
Meanwhile some teenage girl in the 1930s was sending these to her faourite horror magazine:

Devil's Croft is enticing. Raggh---woof---grr---I like so very much.

If you can get me any more story-length poems like Lovecraft's Psychopompos---by all means 'gimme.'

Ah---ahaha---haw haww---chuckle!
