Urrrgh, yeah. I walked 8 miles on Saturday, 5 yesterday, and today I'm sore but actually have a teeny tiny bit of energy.

ha, and as I type this, Henry the dog sidles up to me and gives me the "heyyyy, you wanna... you know... go outside, walk around a bit, nothing major, just a few miles?"

After a whole bunch of fighting with UEFI DevicePath, I managed to get sprout to boot my Fedora 43 vmlinuz and initramfs from an ext4 filesystem

Henry the dog has decided that now it's colder, he can stay in bed after waking me up to go out to pee.

I have to get my coat and keys, grab the leash, head back upstairs to rub his belly before he gets up.

I don't really blame him!

A study of 74,738 COVID cases and 18,790 influenza cases found that COVID patients had a higher risk of severe long COVID within 6 months.

Within 30 days, 826 COVID patients vs 89 flu patients died; within 90 days, 1,391 COVID patients vs 149 flu patients died, showing worse outcomes for COVID-19.

Nevertheless, for my own mental health, I choose to believe that it does, and that it is populated with abusers of men, women, children and animals.

Fiona, Ella, and Foster (girls) all wanted to play and hide. Pickles (girl) was a silvermitt and more laid back.

Boys: Nemo (black-eyed white) and Baxter wanted to play and cuddle. Fuzzball (big ol' silvermitt) was very laid back and forever hassled by his brothers but loved being held.

Having owned both male and female ferrets, I found the males to want attention and cuddles much more than the females.

Curious if that was just my batch or if you've found the same thing?
