my grandmother’s 85-year-old sister liked a FB post in which i said alex pretti wasn’t my enemy but his murderers are, and only then did it occur to me she’s an immigrant

i've been joking about it for a while but i have truly been trying to get my head around the idea that toppling this US oligarchy will cost lives, not just due to the elimination of gov. services, but due to open conflict
