Important point. There is no reason to assume that the US has actually moved any submarines following Trump's nuclear statements. They always have multiple on patrol in the relevant areas. It's still quite something to see this kind of irresponsible saber rattling from a US president, though.
nuclear-jim.bsky.social
As much as I deplore nuclear signaling by tweet--can't believe I just wrote that--I would NOT necessarily assume there's a been change to the US nuclear posture. The U.S. always keeps ~4/5 SSBNs at sea ready to fire.

It’s so odd and sad I don’t get as mad when they do grisly things, every day, but this somehow has sent me into an actual rage. I won’t quit, but America is over. They’ve won.

Wow. Trump announces he is firing the U.S. Labor Statistics Commissioner for reporting that jobs numbers are weak under his watch.

This is what dictators do.

The FBI redacted Trump's name in the Epstein files.

"An FBI [Freedom of Information Act] team redacted Trump's name—and the names of other prominent public figures—from the documents, according to three people familiar with the matter."

Once upon a time, a chomo promised to end the war in Ukraine. In fact, he made the claim dozens of times. Now he's having a tiny sausage fight on social media with Russian assholes like Medvedev. Sadly, this was inevitable. The molester is no statesman.

JFC! The fascism is gaining steam as the Dems largely sit frozen in place, except for angry social media posts. We are, in a word, fucked.

I know the constant deluge of shitty news takes a toll, but we must continue to shine the brightest possible light on the consequences of a fascist, terrorist regime occupying the 3 branches of govt. This story shows the consequences of a federal govt out of control.

This is a lie (as usual). While I disagree with the decision, IT LEAVES THE INJUNCTIONS OF THE BIRTHRIGHT EO IN PLACE, just narrows them to the plaintiffs. And it does not limit nationwide class actions, which will be filed to achieve the identical outcomes. The EO remains unconstitutional.

If the Supreme Court thinks universal injunctions are unconstitutional, to wait until *now* to say that, in this of all cases, with this of all presidents, is a devastating indictment of both its impartiality and its prudence.

An addled president is shredding the Constitution to usher in white nationalism and fascism while destroying the economy and our health care, so if you’re going to write an alarmist op-ed because a mayoral candidate might open five (5) city-run grocery stores, you can kindly get bent.

He has been deported to South Korea.

He should have been awarded citizenship when he was shot in the back, but that's not the American way.

DHS CONTRACTORS FOR KIDNAPPING: These job adverts confirm that DHS-ICE is hiring people off the streets with as little as 2 years military service.

Plus CBP is hiring former War on Terror analysts to hunt Americans and migrants alike.

Straight up Secret Police shit.

I can’t speak for every city, but here in LA, ICE bounty hunters aren’t going after gang members. They’re hunting the vulnerable: gardeners, street vendors, day laborers.

Easy money, no risk.

Folks need to stop pretending this is about crime.

This is your reminder that between 400 and 410 kg of highly enriched uranium (about 60% purity) is missing in the aftermath of the United States’ missile and air strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities.

That’s enough to build several nuclear weapons if further enriched.

(🚨) WAIT... WHAT??

Agents of Red Sea co-conspirators and Trump business partners MBS, MBZ, and el-Sisi were secretly in the White House as Trump agreed to go to war with their enemy Iran?

How is this not the big news right now? How is this not bigger than every other story major media is covering?
