Same thing as "sex-based rights." There's no such thing in the same way we don't have "race-based rights."

All of this are just terms and concepts invented to discriminate against trans people.

right wing bigots have admitted

- the “trans women in bathrooms” issue

- the “trans women in sports” issue and

- the “trans kids getting surgery” issue

were all MADE UP TO TAKE OUR RIGHTS AWAY

are you paying attention?

Some say he doubled the Green party membership in a month, and that he makes right-wing mouthpieces disappear in a cloud of their own nonsense...

All we know is he's called Zack.
Showing my age. 😄
Better list 😅
fantastic. here's the blocklist for anyone who wants an easy one button solution.
Don't engage. Just block. They want to push their rage bait on here. Don't give them the satisfaction.

Over 50,000 cis women have signed the @nionwomen.bsky.social open letter rejecting the narrative that trans women are a danger to women.

The real threat to women has never been trans women. The real threat to women is male violence.

Ours says "quack" quite a bit. It's very odd 😺
Republicans are working overtime to find a way to blame trans people for this.

For years, outlets like Newsnight gave transphobes uncritical platforms, turning prejudice into “debate”

Those same journalists now act shocked the ADF is talking to Nigel Farage.

They, and their 'gender critical' transphobic mates were the entry point normalising restriction on bodily autonomy.

It's really telling that mainstream journalists are doing stuff about the *possibility* of the ADF or the Heritage Foundation starting to influence UK politics, when the reality is that they have been here for years, spending huge quantities of cash and succeeding in areas like trans rights.
That is an incredibly disappointing reaction.

Read my two letters to the #UK:
1. Protests: I call for a review of the legal framework and the reconsideration of provisions in the Crime & Policing Bill that could restrict freedom of assembly.
2. Trans people: I warn against exclusion&zero-sum approaches

Green Party Conference recently passed some amazing healthcare policy for the trans community. It commits us to an informed consent model of trans healthcare, a trans-led public inquiry into NHS care, a trans-inclusive ban on conversion therapy, and so much more.
They got the idea from covid testing.
Indeed. You can't possibly be *two* things! 😒
This is a weird feeling - I have no idea what you're doing, and yet I am very glad you are doing it. 🙂

Shameless bullying by odious little tin soldier Jenrick of people who just want to serve the public.

This shouldn’t be worth taking seriously ofc, bar the manifest risk that our politics will now dissolve into an auction over how many judges each party promises to sack.

A few points & a warning 1/
Top Tory names judges he would sack for bias bit.ly/3KE7cBY some have allowed immigrants to stay in the UK for reasons Robert Jenrick disapproves of. He wants Ministers to appoint (and sack) judges. But top judge Sumption warns this could lead to an authoritarian state

The shadow justice secretary has accused ‘activists’ within the judiciary of having links to political causes that compromise their independence

I guess there's no way to confirm that number as they're a private company? It sounds like depressingly large support for right-wing bigots and racists.
