Isaiah McKenzie chimed in during the game on failed 3 and 1 jet sweep play:

"They are making jet sweeps look so hard, make a damn pocket and stop trying to grab it with your hands!"

It is so true. It is not the call. It is the execution of it.

The process as i see it: Experiment with various plays throughout the early part of the season and have a good diverse set of plays for the playoff.

In this process, there is growing pain. That's what we are seeing.

We are 4-2 on track to playoff spot

From that perspective, I like Joe Brady's attempt to expand Bills short yardage plays even though they have resulted in failure.

It's bullcrap when McD characterizes them as "cute" or "we are better than that"

What happened to "focus on process, not on results"?

Bills lost in Divisional game last year "primarily" because they couldn't convert on short yardage. They were 1 trick pony with QB sneak that worked great in regular season and got beat by Chiefs when it really mattered.

How quickly we forget.

Bills offense and defense player snap count vs. Falcons week 6

2 observations:

1. Ty Johnson was #1 RB based on snaps😱
2. Deone Walker played 82% of snaps despite making several mistakes. He also played well. His increased snaps bodes well for Bills defense as he gains valuable callus

I agree with coach.

But under Babich, Bills 1H defense has been mostly atrocious. It's probably got to do with their diligence in game planning.

Fan are entitled to emotional roller coaster. They can scream and holler. But media & pundits criticizing play calls is lame. They should know better.

I'm not going to be critical of Ed Oliver's game last night.

But you have to be critical of all the "homer" media guys who made excuses for Bills defense by pointing to Ed not being in the line up for weeks 2-5

Ed is a great player every 6 game. This was his 2nd.
