End of high school was when my migraines really ramped up so that whole store became a no-no for me. So while I can do some perfumes now, scented lotions, extra sprays the competing scents I can’t do.

I’m not sure I know what the verbena smells like.

One of my neighbors invited me to get a cow with his family, my other neighbor brings me fish and deer because we pull in his trash and recycling when he goes out of town. I’ve got a coworker who sends me fresh seafood from the PNW and I send him seasonings in bulk.

You inspired us ages ago. This year we went into a coop venture with a local family and expanded our garden. Through trading we now have a source for things we don’t grow which includes salmon. We ended up buying a freezer. We could harvest our chickens if necessary.

Since we could!!!!! I think that’s part of the confusion. Did we mobilize after November? Absolutely!

But it wasn’t like we started from nothing. Be prepared isn’t just a scout motto even though many of us were 😭😭.

I literally have “empty my freezers” parties when I move. And then start over.

Ohhhhhh weee those are hurting!!! Not sure what it’s looking like today but fb marketplace always has deep freezers for sale. People tend to sell them when they have to move. Might be cheaper to get one used. I hope you find a solution! 🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾

I have 3 bone in half hams I think. Might be 4 🤷🏽‍♀️. 😂😂😂 lamb, chicken, turkey, ribs, deer, I got crabmeat and clams, pie crusts and jam. Point is when the funds are low, I can still eat and eat well. Driving home with a case of salt, case of evoo and 25 boxes of spaghetti that my daddy gave me 😂

Right??? The 3 deep freezers I have in my house didn’t appear out of thin air. Learned behavior from my grandparents who lived through the Great Depression and generally just being BLACK IN AMERICA.
