Some 🔥🔥🔥 from Abrego Garcia, calling out DOJ stonewalling on discovery into his vindictive prosecution claim and zeroing in on DAG Todd Blanche as a key witness.

Looming over all this: If govt succeeds in removing Abrego Garcia to Liberia, the criminal case becomes moot, which might be the point.

This chart—using data from Catalist, in this article by @scottanderson.bsky.social—is a Rosetta Stone for how the presidential map changes over the next decade. We've got to turn WI MI PA blue before 2032—because at that point, they won't be enough to get to 270.

It's official - the House will be out AGAIN next week, for a sixth consecutive week. That means the House will have worked 20 days over 17 weeks. The last House vote was on Sept. 19.

Fifteen million are about to lose health care. Premiums are set to double. Housing & child care are outrageously expensive.

Meanwhile, Trump’s priorities are demolishing the White House, bailing out Argentina & now threatening war with Venezuela.

What happened to America First?

The U.S. has conducted 10 strikes on alleged drug-carrying boats, killing 43 people.

Remember: no judge or jury has found these boats were trafficking drugs. We're simply taking Trump's word for it.

He’s unilaterally acting as judge, jury, and executioner.

This is a danger to us all.

New polls from Gallup, YouGov, and out of Virginia show voters now trust Democrats more than Republicans to handle the economy. Nationally, Dems now have a 4-point margin on the issue — an 18-point shift away from Trump since 2023. Time to update your priors

The issue that sank Democrats in 2024 now threatens to do the same to Republicans in 2025 and the 2026 midterms

Here’s the original clip of Ronald Reagan from April 25, 1987, where he delivered a complete and total rebuke against tariffs. Trump's calling Reagan’s words here “FAKE” and “fraudulent.” They’re 100% real. And the original clip is actually far worse for Trump, as much is left out of the ad:

We’re bigger than ever.

Mike Johnson refuses to swear in Representative-elect Adelita Grijalva — because her vote could force the House to release the Epstein Files. The GOP is doing everything they can to keep Trump's Epstein cover-up going.

Good overview of Trump's $230 million heist -->
Trump's (probably correct) belief that his Justice Department will give him a quarter-billion dollars in public resources is the product of a Justice Department controlled by Trump loyalists who understand their jobs to be "using the law to do whatever the boss wants"
Why Trump Expects the Justice Department to Cut Him a Quarter-Billion-Dollar Check
What Trump’s Justice Department loyalists understand is that the law is a tool they can manipulate to give their boss what he wants.

I hope this happens, but I seriously doubt it will until after the next election. Republicans don't even want to open this can of worms.

Unless Dems can do an unofficial but very public hearing themselves.
BREAKING:

Jack Smith is requesting that Congress and the Justice Dept. let him testify in public.

In new letters to the House and Senate Judiciary Committees, Smith says he wants to testify "in open hearings" because of "the many mischaracterizations" around his investigations.

Trump on the No Kings protests: “I saw that ridiculous march the other day. I say, these people are not representative of our country. And not all of them, of course, but many of them are total lowlifes.”

A blaring red warning signal for the rule of law; a President declaring “we’re just gonna kill people” without a trial or even a shred of due process.
Trump: "I don't think we're necessarily going to ask for a declaration of war, I think we're just gonna kill people that are bringing drugs into our country. We're going to kill them. They're going to be, like dead."

Even by Trump standards, the pardon of former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao is really bad

His cryptocurrency firm was used by terrorists-like Al Qaeda-to move money

He was basically convicted of money laundering

And Trump pardoned him only after Binance helped Trump’s crypto company make millions
Thank you Chief Justice Roberts for making it possible for our president to commit such corruption with impunity.
