I try not to lose an opportunity to see beauty, so I came up this street, instead of the next one over, because I remembered this magnificent bougainvillea would be in flower, and I could see it again. 🌺👋🏽😀🌼🌸🌺🌻🌷💐🌿🌱💕#bloom #bloombloom #blooms ##bloomin #bloomsinaustralia #bloomsinoz #bloomscrolling

This week I’ve drawn on Gregory Cajete’s work where he discusses ‘Pathway’ (Cajate, 1994:55), and additionally one of my early works - ajie.atsis.uq.edu.au/ajie/article..., 2007 (pre-print & online easy to access text: eprints.qut.edu.au/13502/1/1350...).

The heavy mist almost fog didn’t stop me walking this morning, although I needed to pat the neighbour’s dog first as she came over to say good morning. She has her walk a little bit later, especially when the grass is wet. 🌿🐕👋🏽😀

The Federal Government funds 71% of every spit hood put on an Aboriginal child in the NT. It's time to ensure Federal Funding comes with conditions including complying with human rights law!

Time changes everything. This area along my neighbourhood creek generally floods every January & February, and then within months the spiders, little lizards, small goannas, snakes, bees, possums, ducks, finches, & other birds, all come back & the trees & shrubs look lush & fabulous. 🌱🌿👋🏽😀
