I know it's time to get off of social media for the night when I can't stop laughing at the California Governor trolling the President. 🤣

I agree. Ennis is our stop on the way up to the rest of Montana.

As a retired federal employee I know this to be true.
rbreich.bsky.social
Our nation's federal employees are more than just numbers on a spreadsheet.

They make sure we have clean water.

They protect us from financial fraud.

They provide healthcare to our communities.

They make our government actually work for people.

Do not forget this.

Not the first time we've bailed out Argentina.

Party like it's 1984! & 1985, 1987, 1989, & 1995!

(If you don't get the joke: these are previous years when the US used the Treasury's Exchange Stabilization Fund to bailout Argentina)

Libraries are so much more than books. They are the heart of many communities.
thisone0verhere.bsky.social
Reminder that September is National library card month, so you should totally go get a library card! Yes, they have books, but many also have dvds, cds, video games, game systems, hot spots, streaming services, ebooks, audio books, park passes, museum passes, and more! Maybe it's time for a visit!

Insurers don't want to bear the cost of illness
drtomfrieden.bsky.social
The announcement of health insurance companies that they’ll continue covering routine vaccinations is a huge vote of no confidence in ACIP's recommendations. It reflects a desire by insurers to avoid the cost of illnesses by having their customers vaccinated.
