Sign of a Big Winter to come? The past 2 weeks, squirrels have been cutting cones. I find this amount (and many more on the lawn) every morning. Conifers produce cone crops erratically-this year is a bumper crop! I rake them & pile them under the tree for an artificial "cone cache". #Idaho
