We made ChatGPT pretty restrictive to make sure we were being careful with mental health issues. We realize this made it less useful/enjoyable to many users who had no mental health problems, but given the seriousness of the issue we wanted to get this right.

Now that we have been able to mitigate the serious mental health issues and have new tools, we are going to be able to safely relax the restrictions in most cases.

In a few weeks, we plan to put out a new version of ChatGPT that allows people to have a personality that behaves more like what people liked about 4o (we hope it will be better!). If you want your ChatGPT to respond in a very human-like way, or use a ton of emoji, or act like a friend, ChatGPT should do it (but only if you want it, not because we are usage-maxxing).

In December, as we roll out age-gating more fully and as part of our “treat adult users like adults” principle, we will allow even more, like erotica for verified adults.

the problem is that we kind of can't tell if we already have the extra support updates for windows 10 or not because it hasn't yelled at us that it's going to be unsupported soon but also we don't remember preemptively trying to grab those when we added dual-booting

Unless you're specifically aiming to play with .wads that take advantage of GZDoom's scripting features, I would heavily recommend DSDA-Doom (running it through dsda-launcher) for even more casual end users - its default settings are a good deal less annoying than GZD's filtering and jumping.

i said this a few weeks ago, but a reminder that windows 10 being "end of life" does not mean your operating system will immediately stop working. even if the OS itself doesn't get updates, the apps you use most often (the browser.) still are. more important to have adblock + firewall these days

When I think of A.I. I think of asbestos. To begin with everyone thought Asbestos was amazing, folk used it in everything. we've gone on record on multiple occasions that e621 is the worst database because it has 2 entirely separate tagging systems that *both* have fundamental flaws that make it useless as an actual database. this is true.

after 4 days of ghosting us after we sent an honest to god email asking them "What the fuck, this would be like rejecting Kirby Super Star but verifying Spring Breeze", they unceremoniously came back and just told us "Oh yeah this is probably a game."
