If the fascists don't come for me eventually, I'll be shocked
This is a U.S. citizen being brutally abducted by ICE while his mom pleads for them to stop and the videographer cries for help. The Chicago police do nothing to stop it.

They will come for everyone, and they’re not even hiding that anymore. If you are not organizing and resisting yet, get started.

When Massachusetts passed a "millionaires tax" in 2023, conservatives claimed the rich would flee.

But two years later, they haven't — and MA has collected $5.7B for infrastructure and public education.

A reminder that positive change can still happen at the state level.

"And it was all done under the name of an FBI gambling investigation that obviously was used as an excuse for ICE to target people, something ICE has been increasingly doing, including to U.S. citizens, as Pro Publica recently reported."

The US hit an all-time high $38 trillion in national debt, thanks to Donald trump.

This marks a +$500 Billion jump in October, or +$23 billion per day, again, thanks to Donald Trump.

Donald Trump is bad for the economy, business, and your pocket. Support MAGA, lose money.

The oil industry lied about climate change science.

The oil industry lied about water contamination from fracking (still does!)

The oil industry lies about carbon capture.

I could go on.

My point is, don't believe them. Ever.

They say they want to stop methane emissions. Sure.
The oil industry says they need better technology to find the source of methane emissions. And yet when they are given that info, they only respond 12% of the time.

"the number of alerts leading to action rose from one per cent to 12 per cent in the past year."

They know, they just don't care.
Most major methane leak alerts ignored despite climate threat
UN satellite tracking has greatly improved detection of major methane leaks – a gas responsible for about a third of global warming – yet companies and governments are acting on only around 12 per cen...

If you're avoiding facts to be happy, you're the reason this species is a failure, and it makes me angry
Children should not be medicated though
Nice. I actually think all drugs should be legal. People do them anyway, and they'd be safer if they were all legal and regulated
Do you not know what a rhetorical question is?
My daily interactions with neurotypicals remind me of this.

Rick: Careful with that, it's beyond your reasoning

Jerry: You're beyond our reasoning!

Rick: Takes one to know one
Not really, I think most people are insane. I just want everyone else to figure it out.
I don't understand why literally anyone would let that happen. Is the entire government full of insane people?

Boycott Home Depot
For folks asking if they've made it *inside* a Home Depot yet as the business has clearly just continued letting agents do whatever they want in their lots, the answer is yes. This is from yesterday in Evanston.
They lack critical thinking skills and just believe whatever they're told if they think it sounds good. That's why I think willful ignorance is the worst
