Hi, for those who don't know, it doesn't matter one single iota if your project is "free". You do not have the rights to use art you find and distribute it. That's literally what licensing is for.
Your circumstance and goal has nothing to do with whether you are allowed to use anyone's art.

MYTH: Non-union minimums are protected.

FACT: Many actors still work below non-union minimums, even in Los Angeles. I can name several dubs alone. Actors charging different rates in different markets causes confusion for clients trying to understand the true cost of hiring actors.
