“He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither…” —Declaration of Independence, 1776
America... boy, I dunno.
They bait you into the "Trump" answer with the Bari Weiss talking point.
I'm sorry, Sam. I wasn't familiar with your game.
This is the funniest one, I think

"pretend a right-wing activist is just a Concerned Citizen" is the go-to move for crypto-reactionary NYT people.

Jeremy Peters did this for a militia member at Charlottesville,

I pointed the error out to him on Twitter and he blocked me."

Jeremy W. Peters identifies the tell-tale sign of “leftist dogma” in @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social: pronouncing Haiti’s name correctly

America... boy, I dunno.
My biggest issue with it is that the writers don't know when the Order of the Knights Templar was even founded.
waow
HUNT: Dems have argued that the norms of our govt should be that you negotiate policy outside of a shutdown

GALLEGO: You're talking about norms in a time of Donald Trump?

H: But Ds have spent so much time arguing that maintaining norms is incredibly important

G: It's all out the window, Kasie. No
It's useful to remember that "trolling the libs" is an animating goal for the right now. "ha ha I made you mad by [stating that I'll do something unconstitutional/stating that I want to invade an ally/tear-gassing a children's birthday party]" has replaced a defined platform
AI companies are making a lot of money from this, but I'm convinced that the main beneficiaries in legal services will be ediscovery vendors. AI-generated transcripts, meeting notes, summaries, summaries of summaries, etc. - just a shitton more documents are getting created, all discoverable
All the partners at my firm came back from a retreat where a bunch of vendors pitched AI tools to them for a weekend, and so now every single one of them will ask "how can we use AI on this?" for every single assignment. No associate can convince them that AI is not a substitute for analysis.
This is close, but it's actually because of Warhammer.
lowkey i think the tradcath resurgence, such as it is, is partially because of anime

again, I have to emphasize to the doomers that this is the *best* it is going to get for them until they leave office, however it happens
Look at the all surveyed lol

one of the first things trump did on taking office was purge the joint chiefs of staff of everyone who wasn't a white man. it's somewhat maddening to me that "he's attempting to re-segregate the military" is somehow not a five-alarm story for the national media
GW understands, however, that people but these kits based on the box art or promotional images. They're going to see a single miniature blown up to 3x size. All the doodads look great in that context.
The platonic ideal of a 28mm fantasy kit, to me, is the Empire Knights box from 5th edition (brought back for TOW). You've got one thing on each knight that might be a little involved (the helmet), but you don't have to go nuts on them and they're designed to be viewed as a mass
Yeah it's a common complaint. There's just too much crap on GW's rank and file. This was beginning to be a serious problem in the early 2010s (check out the Seaguard minis from Island of Blood).

It's actually a side effect of scale creep, I think. Or the two things drive one another.
People write "the Democratic Party" when what they mean is "my daughter's friend group at Oberlin."

we're all trying to find out who in the media is spreading all this misinformation
We can't even advocate for our own policy victories for fear of discounting the lived experiences of any person who has been failed by those policies.
Old enough to remember when the media decided the Access Hollywood tape was a big deal and Trump's support cratered (thank you James Comey for fixing that)
He and Zack Snyder each have like one thing to say, and it's not very interesting in either case.
Small business owners are the class enemy.

[looks around for jake tapper] hey man, do you, uh, want to write about this?
Trump: AOC is low IQ. If you give her an IQ test, have her pass like the exams that I decided to take when I was at Walter Reed. Those are very hard…

The first couple of questions are easy. A tiger, an elephant, a giraffe..
