for an event where my parent was possibly going to be present, my highschool choir teacher knew i was extremely closeted at home and let everyone know not to call me by that name and instead use my other name for my safety. she’s a real one for that.

i’ve also only ever told a grand total of 3 teachers i’ve ever had that i like to be called by the name silas and prefer to use he/him. all of them were incredibly supportive.

happy #nationalcomingoutday when i was 14 my aunt asked me if i liked boys and i lied and said i did, and then later on i told her i was gay and she goes “i know.”

only recently did i tell her i like to present more masculine and she was decently okay about it, especially knowing how she is.
