May I present a former clerk to Justice Gorsuch.
As a trained paleontologist I can verify that this is 100% scientifically accurate
Whataboutism is toxic but anybody who evens says the words cancel culture given the current regime is a moron
The Washington Post opinion section is a thing to behold today. (Don't worry, I canceled my subscription, but old habits die hard, and I tend to still navigate to their front page during my news reading in the morning.)

For almost four decades the default democratic position on “what normies care about” is that it is a fixed immovable thing that leaders have no power to change, and that unilateral atrophying of the basic muscles of politics is a big part of How We Got Here.
Just standard whataboutism. Caring is zero sum and if you care about anything but things they believe are important you are a rube or, even worse, a "lib."
Not sure if the commentators all live in Malaysia but here in the states we are also entering winter, a season that for much of the country is, in fact, famous for being bad for growing crops.
On Threads, the usual suspects are telling ppl about to lose SNAP benefits to just start a garden. As a gardener, I had to laugh. You need at LEAST an acre of land to feed a family of 4. Start-up costs are enormous. But yes, subsistence farming on the balcony of your rental apartment is the answer
If AI is at all useful to programmers maybe everyone can work on making their goddamn password requirements allow any special characters so I can use my hash at different sites who each have different requirements for which special characters are allowed

"Provincial officials allied with the Trump regime have jailed a political dissident for over a month after he made comments on social media critical of the authoritarian leader and a recently slain political ally who founded an influential group to radicalize America's 'White' ethnic majority."
The Absurd Prosecution of a Man Who Posted a Charlie Kirk Meme
Larry Bushart Jr. posted trolling memes on a Facebook thread about a vigil for Kirk. He’s been in a Tennessee jail ever since.

Every time there's one of these scandals and people are like "that's just how white dudes are when they are 18" I think how me and my friends were idiots but did not assault women, become nazis, have private discussions where we spewed vile racism, etc. It's not that hard to avoid!

Over and over again, establishment journalists just refuse to describe Republican policies and beliefs in plain language to mislead the public. The GOP says it is purging liberals from academia and journalists reframe it as “rebuilding trust.” That is not journalism, it is regime propaganda.

“the president is less popular than the Vietnam war” should be a simply irresistible headline
Good evening. We estimate that between 4.2 and 7.6 million people turned out for the No Kings Day demonstrations held around the country on Saturday. This makes Oct 18 very likely the biggest single-day U.S. protest event since 1970. www.gelliottmorris.com/p/second-no-...
Second "No Kings Day" protests likely the largest single-day political demonstration since 1970, with 4.2-7.6 million participants

The only thing that anyone ever needs to know about Bill Ackman is that he once joined a group of avid long distance bikers from NYC to Montauk and back without training or preparation, arrogant in his ability to "lead the pack" and ended up screaming in agony
I am camping so we went to some random small WV town for the protest. Good turnout lots of cars honking in support, far more than were openly antagonistic. Local guy said it was bigger than George Floyd protests.
Take note of all these people turning out for protests in small towns in red states.

Remember them the next time you’re inclined to write an area off because “they voted for this.”

Pritzker: "Stephen Miller is clearly ordering people to break the law. So he should know that yeah, it may be three years from now that he is held accountable, but I think it's important for them to know that whatever they do now, it's not like we're going to forget."

Probably Fallout:Brotherhood of Steel (Xbox dark alliance clone) but I may have hated Dead Island more and still beat it. Only game I ever sold back for credit.
What's the worst game you finished/rolled credits on?

(games media folks, it can't be something you were assigned to review; this has to be something you subjected yourself to of your own free will)
Are circle and x on the underside as triggers?
Nobody is going to buy your feeble attempts to co-opt what you think is leftist language to shield generative AI from criticism. It's embarrassing that you think this will work

The fact that so many US citizens have no idea Bad Bunny is also a US citizen (and don't believe he can be a US citizen) tells you that when they say "citizen," they really just mean white.
This is one of the driving factors of the trump phenomenon too. Rich people are already successful but they demand constant accolades as well. They feel we owe it to them and are affronted when any criticism comes their way. Trump, musk, etc.... many such cases
