Look, Oregon, get it together. I am still getting used to Indiana being GOOD good, let alone "actual title contender" good.

Gotta mute some mutuals today because I can't bear to face what's happening in Eugene.

It took me so long to parse "I'm not a neck beard, so I will run <Linux>"

This has got to be the most consistently thrilling baseball game I've ever seen to go this deep into extras and with this little actual scoring

I also think I only say this to be kinda cringe, like it's a little ironic

🤔 I absolutely do that, but I'd definitely say "five times faster". I think I use "5-ex" etc as a verb? Like "this is two slow, you gotta five-ex it"

It's temporary. Very quickly, you run out of billionaire money, and then what? All the systems and institutions that had people in poverty before are still there.

Also, it's impossible anyway because Elon doesn't have half a trillion in cash. Impossible + not good anyway. Just not a real solution

cyborg-eyed charlie kirk and hitler-moustache'd alex jones fly to an arctic cave that leads them to underground hyperborea, where they are greated by hulk hogan, yakub, john mcafee and aryan kash patel, who says "i'll see you in valhalla". fat pope jd vance smiles. it's set to a t.A.T.u. remix

If you do it just for people in poverty it's about $14k per person, so it would stave off poverty for about 6 months. So to answer your question directly: probably not 0, but not that many.

All of Elon's money distributed among the population is about $1400 per person. That's not life changing for very many people, and you can do that once.

Prosperity comes from institutions and growing the pie. The problem with billionaires is that (rn especially) they're toxic to those institutions
