The last time I looked for rental housing in San Francisco was November 2020, the *one* time in the past 40 years when landlords had to compete for tenants.

Immigration is such a good thing, and the scale to which we should be facilitating it is so great, dozens of our cities should be having weekly mass naturalization ceremonies. They should be open to the public, and we should be encouraged to go greet and celebrate new citizens.

As it gets colder I've been thinking a lot about how much shit everyone in cities has to eat because those cities refuse to build sufficient homelessness infrastructure (mostly bc NIMBYs) and getting Mad about it.
