Confirmed: SDOT will be removing the bus only lane on E Union Street this weekend, ceding this part of the $130 million RapidRide G project back to general purpose traffic in response to requests from nearby property owners.

I was just as shocked with the news about the route 2 bus only lane as you. We are working on it. We need to prioritize pedestrian safety and not go backwards on our transit investments.

And yes there are buses every 10-15 minutes from both Bellevue and Redmond to both Downtown Seattle and the U District. (550, 545, 542, and 271)

Actually surprisingly high. There was an Urbanist article about it, I believe, but it would rank as the #3 or #4 highest ridership bus routes in the whole county if it were a Metro route.

Is the code it wrote secure or even good? I don’t know, and don’t care. I just needed the map! It is great for quickly writing bespoke code to solve a niche problem which typically would be too unimportant to write code for.
