The funny thing is that legion was so awful and tried to recycle so many limited assets, like template dialogue and pitch shifting the 12 voice actors +/- 5 octaves that everyone suspected it being made by AI despite predating the tech do so, it was just that bizarre and shitty and disconnected.

yeah, even after the success of steam, pc games just never had the same presence in stores, often it was like a bargin bin of heavily discounted cd boxes that you still didn't buy, and most of that shelf would usually be CDs of WoW in the 00s anyway for something more flagship. lol

honestly, they probably weren't selling. Not because of the engine or genre, but just because they were pc exclusive games at box retail stores in the 90s. KotoR didn't sell well because of the new odyssey engine so much as it getting to be on the xbox shelves and just one shelf in the corner for pc

The usual problem is whichever you boot second tells you to close the first one beforehand. Not actually a unique issue to them, it happens with a few other anti-cheat programs in the rare case when I try to say, launch helldivers while forgetting I only minimised Fortnite or something
