Hell yeah!

Interesting .. the free version will do what the paid-for, institutionally-provided version won't?
Thx for sharing @roopikarisam.bsky.social
Claude for Education (I'm in our pilot to give feedback 🙃) would not write a paper for me in any mode, got pissed off at me because I wouldn't stop trying and gave me a lecture. So, if I wanted that, I'd just go ask free Claude to do it. Problem not solved. YOU'RE NOT MY MOM, CLAUDE.

Good, innit!!
I learned about the tandem luge last night .. MENTAL!!!

My #3GoodThings for w/e Feb 13th, 2026.

1. Taking time for myself and family next week. 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦

3. Umm, that's it. Struggling to stay positive and motivated in these difficult times. 🧠
Observe
Do you see a shift in how someone behaves depending on who’s around? The same individual can be assertive in one setting and restrained in another. Aloof in one instance then engaged and chat…

The icon for LinkedIn Learning is what looks to be a media 'play' button.
That tells you everything about it, and why for many of us, LinkedIn Learning is not 'learning.

Watching Isn’t Learning: The Flaws of LinkedIn Learning
With more demands on our time than ever, finding quick ways to learn has become the holy grail in workforce education. With attention spans shrinking and schedules jam-packed, it’s no surprise that bi...

He'd better put the guitar away and jog on then!!

Sadly true.

Political ‘truth’ increasingly seems defined by whoever shouts the loudest. Debate is dominated by those who talk over others, never pause, never listen ... volume is mistaken for credibility. That’s a dangerous shift.

I normally have at least 2 books on the go at the same time, sometimes more if they don't engage me. At the moment I'm rereading Three Body Problem series by Liu Cixin.

I remember my Uni course leader 'helping' me in such an instance (1996). My CV was only just 1 page, by contrast he happily showed me his 14 page (incl papers and publications) version.
That was so not helpful in the slightest!!

Bloggers. Do you have the level of visitors, clicks and engagement today that you had 5 or even 10 years ago? ⌨️
Thinking of writing something about it (lower blog traffic & engagement), unless it's just me and my blog however. 🤔

'Sponge or stone?' Same information. Same feedback. Same challenge: one absorbs it. one lets it run off.
In learning and leadership, the difference isn’t intelligence. It’s posture; openness is effortful, deflection is easy.

Sponge or stone?
The ‘sponge and stone’ theory is a simple metaphor, but it carries an uncomfortable amount of truth. Faced with the same experience, information, or challenge, some people absorb it. Ot…

That’s a good skill to have. I’ve learned to spot them, and am learning my poker face to stop it being so obvious what I think of it/them. Next (and final) step will be to reach your zen-like status.

Coming back from a day off ill and the first email I see makes my blood boil. Some people. Yeesh!

😂

nope, all good here too.

I'd reckon well over half of all jobs I'm seeing at the moment don't have:
1. closing date
2. salary details/range
3. what the role actually is.

They do, however, have:
1. 'competitive' benefits
2. 'amazing' culture
3. inappropriate skill set for the level.

#Jobs #Recruitment #WorkCulture

good plan that.

yup. A friend had two wheels destroyed last week on a particularly nasty pothole and is now trying to sort with council and insurance.

Yup. I'm here (but not sure where here is) 👇
