It's hard to be a person right now, and many of us need to do the opposite of touch grass because it's still the AM and we need to experience less of the world, but I hope the fact that this little birb believes in you makes your day better.

It is absolutely wild how Klein completely discounts the political violence of bureaucrats and cronies in his analysis here. A lot more acts are political violence than just assassinations.

Demagoguery doesn't belong in any worthwhile future. Kirk's values are dehumanizing and make communities unsafe. You're doing yourself a disservice if you're more upset by his death than by what he stood for and some of you should do some self-reflection about it.

I could post about the banality of evil, why some statements are violence, and a history of targeted violence against myself and those I love due to the same rhetoric espoused by Charlie Kirk. But frankly, I'm tired and my time is worth more than people like him.

1. Probably undervalued their work.

6 ("that goddamn credit? Dead it") is a little harsh, I think it's closer to 10 because it's not for amateurs. 8 ("never keep no weight on you") can be disregarded, though; no one is getting arrested for carrying a copy of Brightcast in their pocket.

I've seen a lot of shops circle the drain because they didn't heed 4 ("never get high on your own supply") and 7 ("keep your family and business completely separated"). 10 ("a strong word called consignment -- strictly for live men, not for freshmen") isn't treated seriously enough.

It's been a weird few years -- a good weird, though, even through the toss and tumult. I don't know how I got here and I don't know where I'm going, but I've found a home I'm proud of and makes me happy.

If you're a retailer, check out Colin's stuff. His work is good, the covers have great shelf presence, and if he doesn't do direct orders anymore, or you don't like juggling too many product sources, check IPR.

Comparing only the drop in attendance, when masks were required in 2022 the drop in attendance made the exhibit hall feel like a different consumer ecosystem. I'm sure fewer vendors than last year will similarly impact the experience.
