How come major film studios keep being like Jared Leto may have allegations, but at least he looks weird, stars in box office bombs, and is not a good actor

When it comes to A.I., all of its ideal use cases are utterly moot until the underlying issues are first resolved.

The dangers is presents must first be tackled with unrestrained gusto and diligence. The power usage, the misinformation, the incentivization of dismantling industries.

Today is a day when arts degrees are worthless, but the product of those degrees is so valuable it would kill an entire industry if they were made to pay for it.

Zelda Williams has asked people to stop sending her AI slop videos of her father Robin Williams:

"It’s dumb, it’s a waste of time and energy, and believe me, it’s NOT what he’d want"

"You’re not making art, you’re making disgusting [stuff] out of the lives of human beings .. [and] art and music"

Super Mario's a bedrock game series, but no 40-year-old franchise is going to stay exactly the same.

The story of Mario can be told through its power-ups, so let's tell it, one game at a time. PART 1: THE EARLY YEARS, THIS WEEK! NEW DESIGN DOC!

ATTENTION FELLOW EDITORS. I have a problem right now in Adobe. I want to do a basic Zoom in animation on a 60 FPS clip but at 60 FPS, the zoom is just too smooth for my liking. I want the zoom in animation running at 30 FPS without turning the footage itself 30 FPS. Anyone know how to do this?

The sad thing about the owners' contempt towards the userbase is that Bluesky is genuinely a far better Twitter alternative, from a user experience the lack of an algorithm that only seemed to push conflict and suppress people I was following is a staggering difference. You got a good thing here!

I am self taught and normally make my stuff at 30 FPS but I'm using a lot of NES game footage for this project and the constant sprite flickering just causes stuff to disappear for a while, making a lot of the footage kinda useless for my purposes at 30 FPS.

I can get the clips to run at lower framerates with the posterize time effect but that's not quite what I need. I want the animations themselves running at 30 FPS while maintaining the footage's 60 FPS. I can nest still images in a 30 FPS sequence but that won't work for actual footage.

Written 55 years ago, Schulz's heartfelt clarity cuts through the noise, even today.

Scan of a typed letter from 1970, from Peanuts creator Charles Schulz, addressed to "Joel Lipton, 622 N. Foothill Road, Beverly Hills, Calif. 90210"

It reads:

"Dear Joel:

I think it is more difficult these days to define what makes a good citizen than it has ever been before. Certainly all any of us can do is follow our own conscience and retain faith in our democracy. Sometimes it is the very people who cry out the loudest in favor of getting back to what they call "American Virtues" who lack this faith in our country.

I believe that our greatest strength lies always in the protection of our smallest minorities.

Sincerely yours,

Charles M. Schulz"
