The origins of Wonder Man are inherited goofy, and the MCU has essentially missed the boat on tying him in with The Vision and Ultron so I'm actually pretty ok with this. Like this is kind of a good idea for a TV show.

The fact is, comics are for everybody, but my real world experience tells me X-Men is not.

This is not a slight on anyone or anything, just an observation.
It's an insular fandom in the complexity of its lore, and I imagine looking in can be exceptionally daunting.

To be fair, this goes back to 1950's US consummerism, the mantra of which was basically "prosperity is when toys". Now we don't have the prosperity, but we do have more toys.
