Rehearsed a set for next week: played fine, had fun.

Had a can of session IPA and played some more songs: sucked absolute shit.

I was never a get-drunk-before-playing guy*, but feel like I might have to be a no-beers-until-after-my-set guy.

I had weirdly attentive waiters at a restaurant a few years ago who all seemed overly keen on getting my opinion on stuff, but not so much my wife’s. On our way out they said the chef was a fan of my food, which was very confusing.

No idea what chef they thought I was.

Walking to work in London, a trio of random Japanese tourists approached me excitedly, asked for a selfie with me and for my autograph, which I gave. I'm not famous and I have no idea who they thought I was.
