Nope. Never gotten any response. I mean, I'm just a dork who writes comics, but I've seen a lot of teachers ask similar questions, so it feels pretty bad to see them ignore these issues.

Nothing like starting off the day by having an adult laugh and ask if I was making a joke by including my pronouns in my email signature, then proceed to explain why it’s confusing that some people use pronouns that don’t match what they look like.

Sorry, student who has been to the library one time, I do not know if a book you borrowed at some time in the past month needs to be renewed or not. Surprisingly, I don’t keep that list open in my head all the time. (And he really did seem surprised!)

Last night when we went to bed, we'd had 1/2" of rain in Oct.

24 hrs later and we're at 4 1/2", and it's still forecast to rain through tomorrow.

I might be taking an ark to St Louis.

Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?
2? Questions
I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?
