A couple of reminders for context on SNAP:

The avg SNAP benefit is around $6.20/day. And it can take up to two weeks to reload EBT cards, so deciding today to partially fund SNAP through contingency funds -- which took a damn lawsuit for them to do -- is still inadequate. apnews.com/article/snap...

The 2024 Dem losses had little to do with policy - it is all lack of messaging actually reaching people - &/or simply Trump & associates lies & cheating overriding the win.
Of course, Dems could always do better - but they have been far better than Repubs for at least half a century!
