As en embedded engineer, I've built my fair share of ARM and x86 bootloaders and kernels, even BSDi cross compiled SMP kernels in the 90s.

I haven't personally researched LFS, mainly as I'm an 8yr veteran of Arch Linux and have done plenty of "built from scratch" Arch installs. But will look now!

Take a breath... Cancel your entire week, and then install ArchLinux, The Arch Way, on USB stick 4. Now you know how to fix all of the above.

Been trying to tell people this back during his first term as he was overwhelming blocked by the courts and officials w/o #Project2025.

But now, my friends and family on the red side is brushing it off as no big deal.

There has also been a few .NET CLR and Java JVM malware injectors for compilations.

And then you have the 1000s of DLL hijacking exploits, using the old DLL reflection techniques - to where you don't need to compromise the compiler: just piggy back on what it outputs.

I've struggled w/this concept since the 1990s developing phpBB (attachments), as well as blog software in early 00s.

The root of the issue is where to store the binary, that isn't under the control of a large corporation.

I think independent, RSS feed-driven, podcasting is more important today than it has ever been and I'm not so sure the push for everything to be video only on a handful oligarch-led platforms is the right play.

It's significantly more difficult to deplatform content that isn't platform dependent.

Sometimes I think about how from 1935-1975ish, Bell Labs produced an insane amount of revolutionary science and technology, including 11 Nobel Prizes, the transistor, UNIX, C, the laser, the solar cell, information theory, etc. The secret? Provide scientists with ample, steady, no-strings funding.

  Fontemon is a fun one, a pokemon-style game packaged as a TTF. 

llama.ttf is even more insane. A 60MB font that runs a 15M parameter llama model to generate stories. 

Seemingly normal at first, when you use excessive exclamation points it starts to generate text!

That's my point! They work with the creators, even years past, to make the project an (eventual) success.

My case-in-point was the AirPup: Funded in 2018, didn't ship/receive ours until 3 years later in 2021. But they did deliver!

She is adorable.

However, her messy coat may be a red flag. Having had several cars that lived to ~20, they all passed with kidney disease - which had the same
signs in the coat.

Maybe ask ur vet about IV fluids every other day, which helped ours live many years longer (and have a nice coat!).

I have a collection of these first generation Intel Core I7 980X and 990X 6-core CPUs (this thread shows the 2-core variant).

The infamous Dell XPS 700 series factory overclocked this CPU to 3.73 GHz with their H2C system.

Us 730X hackers got a stable 4.0Ghz at 1066Mhz FSB - with 6 cores!
