That's very good, it's showing the normal human side of both of them, which is something we haven't been that exposed to.

This remains head and shoulders above the agenda-driven studio efforts. And mercifully short. #Áras25 Just a minute quiz.

I keep forgetting that English people add a phoenetic 'r' where there's a vowel. That's why I didn't get that name 'Shaun the Sheep' was a pun for a good 10 years.

The whitewashing begins, I actually think a big driver for this ‘peace’ deal was to protect Israel from total ostracisation on the global stage, they should still be punished and made to account for their genocide

Nuanced shift in tone: Israel has families, Gaza has people.

Like people all around the world, I am deeply moved by the scenes of hostages held by Hamas for more than two long years, finally being reunited with their families.

I pay enormous tribute to the patient work of all those who have brought us to this day.
Like people all around the world, I am deeply moved by the scenes of hostages held by Hamas for more than two long years, finally being reunited with their families.

I pay enormous tribute to the patient work of all those who have brought us to this day, including the US, Qatar, Egypt and other partners.

I am also thinking of the challenges faced by the people of Gaza as they return to their homes and the scale of devastation that they face.

Along with a surge of humanitarian aid, we need to see immediate steps taken to support them and to provide the vital services they need as winter approaches.

The ceasefire agreement is the first step on a road to peace. All parties must adhere to it in full over the coming days and weeks.

Now is the time to seize the momentum and to begin the task of building a just and lasting peace in the region, based on a two-state solution.

We in Ireland know how long and difficult that journey can be, but we stand ready to assist in any way that we can.

These people would make you sick. Speech after sycophantic speech praising a man who has forced Netanyahu to a tenuous peace deal for one reason only:
so he can win a Nobel Peace Prize. Meanwhile the Conquest and killing in the west bank continues at pace and the future of Gaza is still in peril.

Adam Parsons tells us Palestinians "feel" that Palestinians held in Israeli prisons are hostages too

Feel?

People are seized from their homes & locked up indefinitely without trial or charge, with no evidence against them & not even told why they've been locked up!

"Feel".

Israel has banned Palestinians from celebrating the release of Palestinian prisoners [hostages] & banned their families from giving interviews

Contrast that with the celebrations around the release of Israeli hostages & the many interviews being broadcast around the world.

Catherine Connolly wanted to do the funniest thing when she wins, her very first public video should be

"I know a thing or two about smear campaigns. That's why I encourage everyone over the age of 25 to book theirs now!"

People gave a record amount of money to multiple organizations for the people of Gaza and all this money just sat there for the past 2 years because Israel blocked it. I hope this money gets distributed quickly now so that the people of Gaza don't have to beg anymore

Signs in Raphoe this morning. All I could read from the car was..

HEATHER
EXPERIENCE

I now have an interactive, multi-media tourist attraction that explores the life and times of Heather in my head.

Photo later.

I’ll see if I can nab one for @electionlit.bsky.social after the count.

It's amazing, here with my 25 Yr old son. It's a trip down memory lane too as he would have holidayed with his Grandparents here for 15 years or so. His late Grandad drank Cointreau , so we had one in his memory last night!
