Seeing all the #gally1 posts in my timeline has me remembering my trip to @gallifreyone.bsky.social a decade ago, including sitting at the brunch table with the wonderful @oldsixie.bsky.social

Farewell to Prunella Scales (1932-2025), whose withering takedowns of John Cleese helped make FAWLTY TOWERS one of the most deliciously acerbic sitcoms ever made. #PrunellaScales

Hadn't even heard of Scouts until now but I checked and I think it doesn't include them, since it gives an error.

I checked and it does include Very Short Treks.
Also, hilarious that browsers tried to translate the symbols that appeared when M'aol was summoned, thinking it was in Vietnamese

Making good progress on my basket for my first Halloweek in Torn City. Hope to complete the first tier of upgrades soon, and make progress towards the "Shadow of Doubt" upgrade that requires 1,000 treats.

One issue with putting Wheel before Seeds - Seeds states that man hasn't gone beyond the Moon, but in Wheel, they have.

(Although it doesn't fit that great after Seeds, unless Zoe is completely unaware of recent history).

Remembering delightful classic Irish-born American character actress Una O'Connor on her 145th birthday, seen here as Minnie (with Boris Karloff's monster) in BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN (1935).

FYI: Norway has Social Democracy, not Democratic Socialism. People often confuse the two.

Driving home yesterday, listening to Michael Kilgarriff’s magnificent reading of Doctor Who and the Tomb of the Cybermen, the Target book by Gerry Davis, produced by BBC Audio, & for some reason this idea popped into my head ..? 🤷‍♂️

New comic! ⏳ Ever wonder why a ‘60-minute game’ takes all evening? 😅 Based on careful observation of our last few game nights, we present our findings! What would you add (or remove) from it?

It's extremely doubtful it was ever recorded, but my morbid curiosity makes me interested in seeing the post-apocalyptic TV play "Underground" from Armchair Theatre, infamous for having one of it's actors pass away back stage during it's live broadcast.

Yeah, some more Doctor Who eps would be nice, but there’s other TV shows with missing episodes which I’d rather see turn up.

Me, trying to use the presets on a microwave.
Leaning towards The Big Heat, since Noirvember is right around the corner.

* letterboxd counts various non-films (shorts, various TV episodes, etc) as films, so it's not really 5000 films.
According to letterboxd, I'm getting close to my 5000th "film"*. Need to choose an a good, unwatched film from my library for my 5000th.

Some I'm considering include The Big Heat, Meet Me in St Louis, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, White Heat.
