I am actually surprised that Mr. Japan's outfit actually has so much color?

Traditionally, men's clothing was in dark, drab colors compared to women's, so I'm a bit surprised, especially when I am fairly certain that (at least one) prior year's clothing *was* pretty basic and frankly boring. Lol.

Mr Japan is giving us a look that's slightly busy to my eye. The actual outfit is really nicely shaped and the undergarment is beautiful but there's something about the patterns on the coat that are a bit much to me. I suspect that's a personal taste thing though.

I see the light in our teacher candidates' eyes when they speak about working with young people.

We are light workers. I don't want that light hidden under a proverbial bushel. I want it to shine. God knows we need all the candles we can get in these bleak times.

At the very least, I want to know who every single one of them is, what they did, so I and the rest of society, at the very least, can shun them for the rest of their and my lives.

I want those who suffered to be compensated and given everything they need to heal from the trauma inflicted on them.

Yeah, I mean, I want accountability and I'm not in the mood for reconciliation with people who ziptie children or leave them stranded on a highway after arresting their parents.

And I want to accomplish that without becoming exactly like this regime.

I was asleep but was woken up by loud noises that I am not sure was a) an earthquake, b) animals running/committing shenanigans on my roof, c) something destructive that I can't even begin to guess and will not find out about til morning, or d) a dream that sounded and felt real.

Now I can't sleep.

But also, my stodgy, strict af, and particular Honors English Teacher showed us Romeo + Juliet as one of the various productions of that play and had nothing but praise for that production.

If *that* doesn't show people how Shakespeare can be accessible, I don't know what else to say.
