I was asleep but was woken up by loud noises that I am not sure was a) an earthquake, b) animals running/committing shenanigans on my roof, c) something destructive that I can't even begin to guess and will not find out about til morning, or d) a dream that sounded and felt real.

Now I can't sleep.

I am Umm Jameel, I suffer from a heart valve. I am still begging you to save us from death. We are homeless, without a tent. We live on the sand. Our food is contaminated, and we have contracted infectious diseases. My kids need a new tent😭😭😭

But also, my stodgy, strict af, and particular Honors English Teacher showed us Romeo + Juliet as one of the various productions of that play and had nothing but praise for that production.

If *that* doesn't show people how Shakespeare can be accessible, I don't know what else to say.

I really have to wonder if a lot of people who say they don't understand it simply haven't been to a production and/or are having flashbacks to their English lit in High School....because if so, I get it. Reading it without context or in class really does suck.

I get that name value means a lot to people but this behavior by KP is a serious problem. I didn’t know about this and I am glad to get this info.

I am more than willing to find another, better candidate.

That's why we have primaries.

Okay, I really don’t want to keep talking about this, since frankly - I hate KP. She’s an example of toxic management, and I saw what she did to my friends.

But I’m really disturbed by the number of women, specifically white women on Threads and on here, justifying her cursing at staff.
