Well lets put it this way, I did biomedical science at university like 18 years ago, I needed the dumbed down explanation of how hormones change one's sex to understand it because the more complicated explanation went over my head

Unfortunately the current climate in culture gives people the impression that they need to have a view on everything. The phrase "I don't know enough on this to have an opinion" is looked down on. I've proved people wrong, they've admitted they were wrong but went back to their original thought

Yep. Even if we ignore trans people, cis women can be born with a penis, with XY chromosomes, with an SRY gene, without a uterus/vagina/womb, without the ability to get pregnant

As a married woman, I'm fairly sure if I hid that fact from someone and slept with them and that fact would have made it so they wouldn't have consented, I would not be arrested for that. That would not be a crime. This is a law that applies to us exclusively.

Granted, I've only just started looking them up but it sounds to me like they were more non-binary. We'll never know for sure as these words didn't exist back then but the descriptions I've seen were that they "identified with aspects of males and females"
