we have multiple scenes with Ivy where she and harley discuss the terms of their relationship and how comfortable they are with Harley pursuing another woman even though we've established previously that they are poly, they still address the nuances of polyamory

We literally had an ENTIRE issue trapped inside harley's own mind as she wrestled with her own sense of agency and self-loathing. you wanted a balance of mature pathos and goofiness? we have it. as well as in her relationship with Ivy

and currently harley is doing one of the most nuanced depictions of DID ever as well as exploring a healthy portrayal of polyamory and a very VERY mature look at gentrification and how to fight back against it

all while also being extremely immature

and regarding the content of harley's comics beings "basic toilet tits humor"... wtf are you talking about? back in 2021 she was breaking down restorative justice and the idea that everyone deserves a chance to work towards making amends.

harley being sexy and young looking is because comicbooks as a whole exclusively draw female superheroes as young hot available babes.

theyve always done this. every since the comics code got dropped theyve pandered to the sex-sells demographic for every female character. immature or not

deadpool doesnt look more mature. he looks muscular and ugly. Harley being drawn thin and sexy is not an indication of the comic portraying her as infantalized

I feel like this makes more sense when you take in Harleys other relationships to people, Deadpool bc he is a man is put in a particular position where his queerness and relationships with people of different genders differ and how they portray his body and attitude. i dunno, as someone who finds the actual psychology of advertising to be really fun to learn about and thought the "its toasted" moment in the pilot was the best part of the damn show, i find it really annoying how the show was mostly just a bunch of guys being sad

guys. Mad Men was so mediocre its not funny. the only saving grace of it was Christina Hendricks being a genuinely amazing actress

there are some characters that have a LOT of flexibility and high skill ceilings where once you master them you can do cold fusion with them

but that requires being sooooo invested in the character you achieve that skill
