I mean with Gogeta SSJ4 having his weird taunt that gets you a Dragon Ball and buffs the damage of your next Level 3, a buff that can stack 7 times before you cash in

It's easy to imagine Omega Shenron having gotten a similar thing, but represented by Black Dragon Balls replacing the normal ones

In a world where Omega was planned to be in the game?
Omega Shenron having such a gimmick, and giving Gogeta SSJ4 one as well to make them act as foil to each other
(Similar to how Jiren and UI Goku both have projectiles that go through Ki blast and several counters)

WOULD make a ton of sense

Him having a Dragon balls centered gimmick, doesn't necessarily makes MUCH sense? He's not really tied to the concept of "Finding The Dragon balls" amy more than any other characters

But Season 3 having an odd number of characters is WEIRD, right?

It forced to shoved Gogeta 4 kinda awkwardly right dab in the middle, looking bizarrely out of place?

And also, you know, it's easy to forget that Season 3 WAS when Covid hit.
So it's no suprise that things were probably cut and long term planned probably had to be switched around.

Like the post season 3's handling of FighterZ really has a lot of "Street Fighter V's lifecycle's end" vibrs

But yeah I think there are pretty decent chances that the games became less than a priority sooner than expected, what with the dev team changes and all that, soon enough that there was no time to put in some obvious picks like Omega Shenron
