Harrell’s folks might be spending buckets of money on the Seattle mayoral race, but I’ve had multiple door knockers from Katie Wilson and nothing from Harrell.

Excited to vote for Wilson & hopeful she’ll be my next mayor.
It’s such a classic scene, the bicycle in the tornado turning into the witch on her broom!
When I’m riding around on my bike I channel one of these two women
“distillery raises money using crypto” is … a real thing?!? 🥴 (via seattle Inno)

Personally, I don’t care about my whisky having “exposure to the biggest opportunities disrupting the asset class.”

Evergreen.
Hey City Council. Please stop disappointing us at every turn. This is gross.
It’s very troubling to read that the City Council is considering legislation to weaken city ethics codes so that folks with financial interests in legislation can more easily vote on legislation that impacts CMs wallets #Seattle

TLDR, Soundcloud has put it in their terms of service that must agree to letting them use your music to train AI.
If you're on the site, get off now and move your stuff elsewhere.
ok then... deleted all our songs that we uploaded to Soundcloud and now closing account:

Modern day street view from about the same point.

Now there are: trolley buses, a light rail station just over the bridge, two nearby bike trails, an intersection with a major state highway a block away, and lots of cars.
TLDR: AI-generated news erases women’s achievements.

Recently a woman was appointed as Interim Executive of King County, WA. She is the first woman in that role & local news mentioned it.

I then saw this AI “news” account generated an article…repeatedly calling the exec he/him/his.

TBC because the OP is framing this like libgen is evil: META are the bad guys here. Libgen is one of the only tools archiving rapidly disappearing digital libraries of ebooks. Now more than ever with banned books on the rise, we need resources like libgen. Meta has no right to scrape that archive.
Seattle Opera is performing Tosca soon, so I looked up the Wikipedia page.

Love that they contain public domain recordings of arias from over 100 years ago!

Ah, that makes sense!
The #pwhl hockey game in Seattle had great energy!

Unsure how they decided that Boston would be considered the home team, though.
Yes, he got to lick the bowl when I was done with my oatmeal.
Recently tripled my time in front of the light therapy lamp (to over an hour in the morning) and it’s made a huge difference.

There is the Transit Go App, where you can buy tickets for buses, light rail, etc. No tapping & need to buy the tickets through the app.

(Definitely not the same thing as being able to tap the iphone directly like in many major cities.)

I took a vacation and United showed ads for Jira in my entertainment & the airport had ads for Anthropic.

Can’t escape #tech.
Seattle/King county has a LOT of articulated buses. I got curious and according to Wikipedia 42% of the bus fleet is articulated.
