Seeing how much of the right-wing on Twitter is just bot farms, kinda lays bare how much hate and hatred is a project that needs to be constantly maintained, a fire that needs to be fed all the time lest it go out for a moment, so much time, effort, and resources to keep people angry and hateful.

Twitter pays people based on engagement (views, retweets, comments, etc). It appears that many MAGA accounts are based abroad and they use AI technology to generate low-effort rage bait.

My guess is that this will get worse as AI tech improves. For instance, fake videos of minorities doing crime.
A Twitter account called Ivanka News tweets an AI image of a young woman wearing Muslim garb. The woman is holding a sign that says "I came here illegally. Should I be deported?" Ivanka News writes: What is your response to this person ?? In the "About this account" tab, it appears the account is based in Nigeria An account called MAGA scope writes: Who, in your view is the great enemy of the United States? Communism, Islam, Democratic Party, or Satan? The account is based in Nigeria. An account called MAGA Nadine writes: You go to work and find this. What would you do? The attached pic is an AI image that shows a microwave. The microwave has a sign that says "For religious reasons, this microwave is now making halal food only." The account is based in Morocco. An account called America First posts an AI image of Tulsi Gabbard. They wrote: How would you rate your trust in Tulsi Gabbard on a scale of 1-10?

You can see the shift in movies as well. Silent films commonly called out police torture and corruption. Dirty cops were all over mainstream classic Hollywood releases.

I haven’t done a formal tally but “one bad apple” and “the crooks get off if I play by the rules” took over by the 1970s-1980s.

Just to point out to those who may have missed the memo. If you're Anti-Gen AI and you missed the disclosure on the ARC Raiders steam page, (which is purposely far bellow the purchase button) I highly recommend you don't buy it or request a refund.

The “Pathways” trial is, IMO on more than one level, a thoroughly unethical piece of “research” to be carrying out on children, especially children who are part of a marginalised minority.
In Total Young people must complete: • 6 physical exams • 10 medical tests • 20 psychological questionnaires • 5 full neuropsychological test batteries (repeated 3 times) • 6 developmental screeners • 4 administrative assessments • MRI scans (CONNECT only) More than 50 assessments in total, many repeated six, eight or even more times over two years. And that still leaves out everything that surrounds them, including travel, long clinic waits, repeated appointments, disrupted schooling and the emotional weight of being asked again and again to revisit the most painful parts of their lives.

My son went through several years of having to respond to pointless and deeply traumatic quizzing while at GIDS Tavi - and that was nothing compared to the new protocol.

As a result he has a deep mistrust of any mental health or therapeutic service, and refuses to engage.

mini story, i really liked shooter games. i played warframe for 200 hours in one year and that shit burnt me out. i played overwatch, and that shit burnt me out. i have since switched to nearly exclusively play random walking simulators and puzzle games and my life has vastly improved.
