Yes and is nice foreshadowing really, kind of like saying tRUmp has plenary powers then glitching. The end game is clear-- spark crisis to then nullify the Constitution to manage that crisis.
Stephen Miller wrote that shit, probably in a rage, because it doesn't make a lick of sense.
Brooke Rollins: "SNAP is arguably just the beginning. The logical and inevitable end to where this all goes is the Democrats and the whole superstructure of constitutional government."
...or, stick with me here... they could send out Stephen Miller to really pull the people in
Perhaps sending Johnson and Vance out to lie to the public a hundred or so more times can turn these numbers around.

Thiel is stark raving mad
I'm somewhat astonished by the number of people who think that they can help build a different type of fascist movement that won't eventually come for them given their race, religion, or sexual orientation.

The cognitive dissonance required is remarkable.
“Peter Thiel “drew on a wide swath of religious thinkers, including… the **Nazi jurist** Carl Schmitt, whose work he said helped create the core of his own beliefs” … 1/ www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...
Would also be great to mention than many aren't actually "illegal"-- they are lawfully awaiting their asylum cases to be adjudicated and have been apprehended by ICE hoods in courthouses where they are trying to follow the law.
We've witnessed but a glimpse in Chicago and L.A.
Pretty sure the current Bessent was stitched together of random parts in Millers underground experimentation lair
The simple answer is their other options are worse.
man, i absolutely don’t get why they keep putting bessent out on all the shows all the time, he’s like a parody of a stuffed shirt rich guy, every facial expression he makes looks like he’s chortling about something

Yes, an important test for the midterms.
If ICE agents begins harassing voters on the way to vote on Tuesday, we need local prosecutors to charge the ICE officers with state law crimes. We need to send a message for 2026 that they will be swiftly arrested.

Some MAGA accounts falsely claimed this didn’t actually happen. They are wrong once again.

You mean like the 5 out of 500,000 NCAA transgender athletes that the right hung around the Dems neck
Yes but there’s enough reality there to make these accusations seem credible
But that's the point-- Clinton did restrain those programs. He did not add to them, he said the "era of big govt is over". He and Obama both governed to the right of Nixon, so it's total fallacy that Dems moved left.
Clever to call all movement to the left "an embrace of civil rights." Beautifully elides everything from moving left in the Cold War and national defense to the ginormous social programs that Bill Clinton finally agreed to restrain.
"It's because of civil rights" is a comforting story.
And Obama was to the right of Nixon in many ways. The Dems haven't drifted "left".
And Bill Clinton was a Southern Democrat as well.
This is just wrong. The party moved right in many ways, certainly in the 90s. The drifting of the public away from identifying as Dems tracks with the New Deal generation, and their immediately adjacent cohorts, dying off.
I guess here on Bluesky it's controversial to note that the Democrats, once the majority across this country, were reduced to national minority (in stages, from 1968, to 1980, to 2016) by moving left.
But if you'd rather think I'm just making Trump's point...well, whatever helps you cope.
I'm questioning this statement, "the left started to lose the public (who to this day don't see Reagan the same way they do.)"
Who is this *public* you speak of? Wouldn't the left be a subset of it?
This feels like the current Trump regime's feelings that Democrats aren't real Americans.

I've given my new Senator a lot of shit on here. But I don't think anyone with power has laid out the stakes of what we're facing as clearly as she does right here.

And if she's saying this, it's because she feels she must.
But I was told by reliable MAGAts that NYC and all cities are hellscapes of crime and the subways are full of ax wielding illegal immigrants. Is this not true? Is this video all liberal AI?
The music cuts off awkwardly before the end, but this is an incredible NYC Halloween costume compilation.
let them eat (urinal) cakes
Unconscionably tone deaf.
sure, you might not be able to eat or go to the doctor, but check out how nice Trump's new marble shitter is
Andrew woke up thinking that if only he had born American, he could be president right now

California – this Election Day, vote yes on Prop 50.

California’s Prop 50 says that if Republicans are going to abuse the system to try and hang onto power, we’re going to counteract that abuse and create a level playing field in the midterm elections.

Make a plan to vote yes on Prop 50.
And a ripped from the headlines sizzle that no show has ever bested (see Putins’s doomsday weapon announcement yesterday- so on the nose I can only assume they were watching in the Kremlin and said “let’s announce it now”)
I don't know why more people aren't watching The Diplomat. It's such a satisfying old-school show, in the West Wing mold -- a completely engrossing political fantasy with real, fleshed-out characters & that old weekly-drama pace that I've really come to miss. And Kerri Russell *cooks*.

I was just in London and this is total bullshit. Women are decidedly not "covered up". Fucking idiot
Mamdani’s family moved to NYC when he was seven, went to grade school & high school there. He literally represented Astoria in the state assembly for years. I think he’s figured it out by now.
So here's Andrew Cuomo reacting to Maria Bartiromo wondering if Mamdani will "change the look of New York" and have Muslim women "completely covered up," telling her that Mamdani "doesn't understand New York culture" because he has "dual citizenship" and "he's a citizen of Uganda."
This sounded better in the original German
What about a different race? Religion? Sexual orientation? Political views?
Vance says it is "totally reasonable and acceptable" for people to not want to live next door to people who speak a different language than they do
