Wtf has Bryce Dallas Howard always been Ron Howard's daughter or is that just something they retconned?

Responses to the CD regrets post are stressing me OUT. Lots of people saying Goo by Sonic Youth. I love that album! Legit can't think of any true regrets. The Aqualung album keeps coming to mind but it had some decent songs on it, and honestly one hit wonder albums are interesting

NO REGRETS! But, I will say that spending £18 on a copy of Everything Sucks by Reel Big Fish as a teenager was a rip off

What albums does everyone regret buying? Loads for me, but the one that really sticks in my mind is K by Kula Shaker, which I forced myself to listen to joylessly several times in the desperate attempt to convince myself I hadn’t wasted my money, and still get cringes of regret about 29 years later.

It's one of the few albums I regret buying.
I'll Manage Somehow and Stardust are fine. The rest is mostly forgettable.

Oh what the actual fuck. RIP Diane Keaton

Certain celebrity deaths are harder to process than others because the person in question was so full of life and creativity and originality that you just assume it's never going to end.

Tryna think if there are any artists that have Radiohead's 6 album streak (The Bends through In Rainbows) beat, or even matched.

Everyone I think of has a combo breaker (like Fugazi's End Hits), or there's an album I don't know in the midst (like Another Side of Bob Dylan)

There's one week until my new album Padlock Wonderland comes out and I can move on with my life!

I'm very pleased with it and feel this week's gonna go super slowly

My favourite thing about Ghost of Yotei is that, when visiting a civilian's house, you have the option to either open their paper door like a normal person or cut through it like a sociopath

I wish Ghost of Yotei was more fun at its core. The game is gorgeous, but there's this constant nagging feeling that I'm playing every videogame, I can't tell what's special about it and I think really there isn't much special about it, except how pretty it is

Most franchises are pretty easy to ignore. I don't think Jurassic Park is made worse by its slew of bad sequels. But nothing has created quite as much of a artistic chasm in Hollywood as Iron Man

I don't trust anyone who doesn't admit having at some time in his life enjoyed trashy American movies; I don't trust any of the tastes of people who were born with such good taste that they didn't need to find their way through trash. (1969)

Not a fan of the period of time between submitting an album for release and it actually releasing

The UK is within spitting distance of having more murders portrayed annually on TV shows and movies set in the country than occur in real life

It's so incredible how low homicide rates are in Europe. The UK, with a population of 70 million people, had fewer than 600 murders in 2023.

Ideally, a boss runback maintains some of the initial tension of encountering the boss, and also offers some space to think and strategize.

Respawning right in front of a boss means no time to think and therefore no time to adapt, encouraging a "beat head against wall" approach to play.

I truly believe that these people actually don't have a favourite authors, bands, etc. How can you have favourites when you clearly don't value the arts? These questions are tests of their humanity, and they don't have any. So the question answered is "Which author have you most heard of?"

Ghost of Yotei is great until you need to fight something. It kinda blows my mind that people can enjoy the combat in a game like this, where everything feels unresponsive, lock on is unreliable, and visibility is poor
