It's hump day already still rather grey in Shropshire so here is some real garden zing! A deep burgundy dahlia that has fallen into the young growth of the choisya.

Simply adore the colour of Arabian Night dahlia, all the moreso as I thought I had lost it during last winter.

🌱 #thicktrunkTuesday. One of the mighty fine trees at Painshill Park. It’s such a special place and so close, I need to spend more time there.
This morning is our monthly Tour Guide training with Jonathan and we will be looking at some of the trees on Wisley’s Battleston Hill.
