A sort of game bird, it is not very large and has beautiful blue, white, and gray feathers with a long dark tail. Its eyes are fixed on us, but it seems quite friendly anyway. 🤗📷

a redpoll sits on my garden feeder full of sunflower hearts + some seed mix. It is a rare sight in the garden indeed and has followed a flock of Siskins I had managed to attract. It is a greyish brown bird with splodges of red on its head and breast. It is dripping wet as believe it or not it is still raining

Today's #BirdOfTheDay I will post on time! (early even) The prompt is #StareDown, and a delightfully cute oak titmouse (lifer!) did just that as I snapped its picture.
