I think they have started the fear mongering too early. They will be so much more over the top by Thursday that the media coverage of the protests will be greater and the turnout will probably be higher because the “concerns” they voice won’t be believable

As his unmasked agents walk around with large guns to scare you, they may arrest you just for that — even if you're a U.S. citizen.

UPDATE: In emailed statement to me / @reason.com, DHS alleges that WGN-TV producer Debbie Brockman "threw objects at Border Patrol’s car and she was placed under arrest for assault on a federal law enforcement officer."

“This incident is not isolated and reflects a growing and dangerous trend of illegal aliens violently resisting arrest and agitators and criminals ramming cars into our law enforcement officers. Let me explain why they’ve all gone into a fetal position on opening the government. Republicans have been lying to Americans. Now they’re in a bind because the lies are catching up to them. 1. Veterans aren’t getting paid & the shutdown has nothing to do with immigrants. Epstein files a problem.
